Some of these pieces are / now in show in St. James Palace. On the “Altar” are 2 / candlesticks that were provided mainly from the life / savings of Sarah Hughes, a 17th century cook at Westminster / school. / At extreme right stands and ivory cross made from / one of two elephant tusks given to the Dean and Chapter by / Haile Lelassie of [illeg.]. Most of the other pieces date from / Charles the Second.
