Recto, [no inscription]; Verso, typed label: BLACK HORSES FOR THE HOUSEHOLD CAVALRY – A GIFT FROM HOLLAND. / Sixteen fine black horses are now undergoing their military / training at the army depot at Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. They / are part of a gift of thirty blacks and six greys presented by the / Dutch Government to the Household Cavalry, as a token of gratitude / for the liberation of Holland.
