Sometimes -- although very rarely -- Marseille got a very frequent / quantity of the food shipped in from the French African colonies, 90% of / thivh [sic] traveled to the Nazi. Stallkeepers who corralled a few pounds of / suce [sic] windfalls soon had queues a block or more in length awaiting a share / of them. Fruit especially was a rarity. Those waiting in line have not / only the cold and discomfort to content with; they worry whether anything / will be left by the time their turn comes.
