These two great men have met twice ? once in August 1939 when Jawaharlal [Nehru] visited China?s wartime capital, and again this winter when Generalissimo Chiang [Kai-shek] made his historic visit to India. Chiang [Kai-shek] is shown here in his favourite costume ? the simple robe of the Chinese scholar or business man.
