In this printing plant where most / illustrated publications are printed (also the red booklets and / Mao portraits), a girl is retouching negative of a photo showing a / stage-play of revolutionary cadres with Albanian and chinese [sic] flags. / The issue for which she is working was the last picture series to be / published on Albania in the Chinese press –all later ones had text only / The reason is that although Albania followed the example of the Great / Cultural Revolution, elimination of “old traditions” is not a very [illeg. crossed out] / aparent [sic] factor. Women in Albania still wear lipstick, and dresses are / too short for chinese [sic] opinion. Many chinese would be appaled [sic] to see / their true Marxist-Leninist friend’s behavior.
