Recto, [no inscription]; Verso, typed [on adhered label]: BRUSSELS’ BEST-DRESSED CITIZEN – “THE MANNEKEN”. / The famous “Manneken of Brussels”, fashioned in 1619 by the / sculptor Jerome Duquesnoy the Elder as a fountain for the Rue de / l’Eturo, has since acquired about 100 uniforms, mostly to mark / historic occasions.
