With more than 1000 exhibition rooms it / covers 24.000 m2. Yougoslavia [sic], Bulgaria, Peru, Switzerland and / Austria have state exhibitions there. Sweden, France, Maroco [sic], Italy / Belgium, Great Britain sent exhibitions of individual firms of / these countries. The Czechoslovakheavy and light industry, / the nationalized enterprises, and tens of thousands of / visitors from Czechoslovakia and abroad use this opportunity / of a survey of post-war production for commercial exploitation. / Czechoslovakia has proved that it has overcome the setbacks / which war and occupation brought about, and that it is well / prepared to take again its pre-war place in world competition. / Foreign visitors have a chance to display their own goods, and / to get aquainted [sic] with production in Czechoslovakia. / Czechoslovakia, this island of peace and order in postwar Europe / impresses visitors from abroad by its quick recuperation, and / offers hospitality to all visit this beautiful and industrious / country. / The picture shows: / Czechoslovak glass plays a prominent part in the / exhibition of Czechoslovak goods; stamped: Credit: [star shape] / from BLACK STAR / GRAYBAR BUILDING NEW YORK
