Captions: Verso: Religion plays a very important part in the lives of the people of [Bad] Eisenkappel. Since two languages are spoken, church services are conducted in separate services in Slovene and German. Sometimes the services are held in the same church where the German-speaking people attend and immediately after their departure the Slovenes enter. The priest who conducts the services speaks both languages. After the services are over they all intermingle in the streets of the town, as in every country town, for neighbourly social intercourse.
