Title: APPROVE NEW FLAG: Flushed with victory, French-Canadian members of the Canadian Parliament come from debate over new flag singing "O Canada" here early December 15th. With a vote of 163 to 78, the members of commons approved the red maple leaf design over the opposition of the conservatives. The new flag proposal goes to the senate later December 15th where another rough debate is expected. The flag controversy has helped prolong the lengthiest Canadian Parliamentary session in history.
